Clovely Estate 2007 Private Selection Grenache 750ml (South Burnett)


Exhibiting generous plum and dark cherry fruits with smoky chocolate overtones.  It has a lovely rich texture to the palate which displays notes of licorice and spicy tannins, balanced by medium acidity producing an elegant and sophiscated wine.

Clovely Estate 2013 Il Taglio’ Mediterranean Blend 750ml (South Burnett)


Il Taglio means ‘the cut’ or ‘the blend’ in Italian.  For this wine we wanted to showcase the best of our Mediterranean varieties, ‘those which have made the cut’. Our 2013  “taglio”  is a blend of Shiraz (36%), Nebbiolo (34%), Grenache (14%)  Barbera (6%) Sangiovese (6%) and Mourvedre (3%). Each parcel was kept separate, in a mix of old and new oak, until the final moments when meticulous blending sessions were carried out to ensure just the right proportion of each was used to make the best wine possible.

Clovely Estate 2013 Semillon 750ml (South Burnett)


The grapes for this wine are picked 10-14 days earlier than the rest of our Semillon in order to capture high natural acidity and low sugar levels. This combination of high acid / low sugar / low pH coupled with grassy, citrus characters produces a wine of relatively low alcohol with excellent ageing ability. The wine is fermented at low temperatures in a stainless steel tank with a neutral yeast strain and bottled as a fresh, zesty youthful wine before being hidden away in the cellar to develop for a few years.

Clovely Estate 2014 Alicante Bouchet 750ml (South Burnett)


Our Alicante wine is made from grapes sourced from a stunning hilltop vineyard in the South Burnett. This naturally red fleshed (teinturier) variety requires little intervention to extract its deep inky colour. Gently handled in closed fermentation vessels it is then pressed to French oak barrels for maturation.

Clovely Estate 2015 Verdelho 750ml (South Burnett)


Harvested in pristine condition in early January the fruit was de-stemmed, crushed and then fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks to help retain the fresh fruit characters and bottled soon after ensuring minimal winemaking intervention. This process allows us to produce a wine that shows pronounced expression of both the vineyard and the variety

Clovely Estate 2016 Barbera 750ml (South Burnett)


Barbera is an Italian varietal grown mainly in the northern regions of Italy. Known for its high acidity it is often aged for long periods in oak barrels or blended with other varietals to soften the palate. Our 2015 Barbera was fermented in open vessels and hand plunged before spending 12 months in oak just to enhance the complexity and body of the wine. In the South Burnett our warmer climate naturally helps to bring this varietal into better balance and as a result our Barbera is 100% and has been left unfined and bottled while still fresh and youthful to highlight its delicious berry and cherry notes.

Clovely Estate 2016 Cabernet Merlot 750ml (South Burnett)


Harvested, fermented and aged as separate parcels in a mix of stainless steel and oak barrels, before being blended just prior to bottling. The Cabernet is selected for its structure black fruits and herbaceous notes while the Merlot offers substances on the mid-palate with plum, spice and soft tannins.

Clovely Estate 2016 Sangiovese 750ml (South Burnett)


Sangiovese is the grape variety that makes up the major part of the red wines of Tuscany including Chianti and the very famous Brunello di Montalcino. While young it is packed with fresh cherries and spice notes and is known for its distinct tannins. Our 2015 Sangiovese was made aged in oak barrels for 12 months to develop complexity and structure.

Clovely Estate 2016 Sangiovese Rosé 750ml (South Burnett)


This fresh and vibrant wine sings of strawberries in both colour and flavour, along with notes of raspberry, lime, dried roses and summer rain. It has a generous palate, with crunchy red fruit and added complexity from the fine light tannins of the Sangiovese grape. Lively acidity balances well with the sweetness of the fruit and delivers a clean dry finish.


Clovely Estate 2019 Chardonnay 750ml (South Burnett)


The fruit for this wine was carefully selected during the growing season to ensure exceptional quality.  Fermentation occurred in 50% new and 50% premium 1 year old French oak and gently lees stirred weekly during 9 months of maturation to give excellent complexity, a creamy texture and seamless integration.

Clovely Estate NV Sparkling Rose 750ml (South Burnett)


The base for this wine is made in a similar method to our still Rosé, and for our initial vintage Sangiovese was used as the base wine. The juice is left in contact with the skins for a few hours in the press to infuse colour and fruit flavours, and then pressed off into a tank and fermenting cool as we do for our whites. The natural acidity and freshness added by making a sparkling version balance the sweet fruit flavours and residual sugar of approximately 40g/L.

Our sparkling Blanc de Blanc is made in the traditional method and is produced from the highest quality fruit each vintage which is specifically selected to showcase the varietal characteristics and terroir of the South Burnett.
